About the Department:

The following projects are carried out in the Department: (1) a critical edition of Polish medieval Latin poetry (Prof. M. Mejor); (2) work on the writings of Frovinus and Mikolaj Oloch (Prof. M. Mejor); (3), sermons of the Middle Ages (Prof. M. Mejor), Latin hagiography and liturgical poetry (Dr. D. Gacka), bibliography of medieval sermons in Poland (Dr. D. Gacka), a o.

In the Departament is affiliated interdisciplinary researche group Textus et cultura. Interdyscyplinarny Zespół Badań Mediewistycznych.

The Department participates in the activities of the Polish Medievalists’ Standing Committee.
