We invite you to explore the new special issue of Memory Studies (3/2026), entitled "Dialogic Remembering: Practices, Politics, and Potentialities." The issue was conceptualized and edited by Professor Agnieszka Mrozik in collaboration with Dr. Ksenia Robbe (University of Groningen) and Dr. Andrei Zavadski (TU Dortmund University). Many of the articles are available in open access.
The special issue builds on research conducted within the project "Reconstituting Publics through Remembering Transitions: Facilitating Critical Engagement with the 1980–90s on Local and Transnational Scales" (2021–2024), which examined processes of remembering political and social transitions in Poland and Germany. The project received funding through the Constructive Advanced Thinking programme for small research groups established by the Network of European Institutes for Advanced Study (NETIAS).
